That's what the greyhoundtrainer that abused 37 greyhounds and killed most of them is facing according to the News Herald.
To me a disappointing result. It is very likely he will file for bankruptcy and will never be really punished for killing these poor animals.

Her name is Cara, she is a Spanish galgo. She was one of the lucky ones. She was saved from a life in misery. This page is dedicated to all those, greyhound, galgo or sighthound mixes, that weren't that fortunate and need our help.
I really think he deserves time in jail, perhaps to see how long he can last without food and water, but it's unlikely to happen. I wish that just once, the sentencing in one of these abuse cases would reflect the horror of the crime committed.
